Kransfontein offers a variety of venues available for any type function. From birthday parties, weddings, corporate functions, art exhibitions or ceremonies.

When booking any of our venues, we can arrange for catering or outside  catering companies are welcome to use our kitchen located at the restaurant.

All the necessary cutlery and crockery and appliances are included for functions and events.

Depending on the venue and your needs we have black wooden tables, tables for the kids, Van Gogh chairs, café chairs and hay bales, that can also be used.

Outdoor lanterns and patio sets can be used for an outdoor picnic setting. At an additional cost the marquees tent is also available.

Should you wish to hire a venue for that special occasion it does not include any food or beverages.

Oewerhuis REstaurant

Capacity – 100

On the riverbank the old Oewerhuis has been newly restored into a restaurant. At the entrance you are welcomed by wooden shelving and a marble island counter. The restaurant has 15 six seater tables and 5 four seater tables with Van Gogh chairs. There are also vintage furniture and décor with a chesterfield couch in front of the fireplace that adds to the charm of the old Oewerhuis.

The thatched roof, fireplace rounded off with Kiaat wood, together with wrapped around stacking doors, creates a flow from inside the restaurant to the fresh green lawns and majestic trees outside.

The kitchen has an oven, grill, food and plate warmers fridges and freezers that can be used by caterers of your choice. Glassware, cutlery and crockery of the restaurant are also available for weddings or functions.

The Gargoyles

Capacity – 200

Located betweenf Milkwood and Muffet olive orchard, down by the river you will find the lovely Gargoyles. With architecture that takes you back to the 13th century it creates a feeling of European cathedrals and castles.

The beautiful stone-made setting features waterfalls, with ferns and beautiful fragrances from the surrounding trees and plants bordering the cricket pitch.

At night the gargoyles come to life as the gas torches and lanterns creates a magical ambiance.

The Gargoyles are divided in an upper and lower part. The upper part is perfect for a food and drink station and the lower part is perfect for a ceremony. The custom made tent are perfect for wedding or event receptions.

The Gargoyles have its own unique outdoor furniture with café stools and kid tables in this picturesque outdoor setting.

The Amphitheatre

Capacity – 100

Simply spectacular, the amphitheatre will take you to another world. A meandering stream flows from the picnic area above the amphitheatre, past the dressing rooms towards Birdsong dam.

This breath-taking venue are home to over 6000 Clivia’s topped with ferns and arum lilies.

With this acoustic setting and birds singing in the background, this venue is perfect for ceremonies, small weddings and functions.

Pecan nut Grove

Capacity – 200

This elegant venue will make any bride feel like a princess walking down the trees towards her prince.

Hay bales will keep the natural feel for seating areas or kid tables can be put up as a drink station.

The setting is located next to one of the honeymoon suites, The Boathouse. It is also an ideal venue for picnics or private parties.
